Our Middleware Continuous Integration Framework & Tools Development Team is looking for a Senior Software Developer to help build innovative robust solutions for boosting the development and delivery of Fusion Middleware PaaS releases. You will have a major contribution on how Oracle’s PaaS/Cloud applications are delivered to the Oracle’s Cloud.

What you will do:

• Build innovative solutions for boosting software development efficiency at Oracle.
• Perform code development, deployment and testing for a wide range of projects, tools and frameworks used across multiple Cloud services teams.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural and technical decisions
• Collaborate with stakeholders on identifying, drafting and implementing and ideas that have a positive impact across multiple organizations.
• Continually raise the bar on our delivery, tools, and processes.

Key Qualifications:

• B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E. degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of software engineering and technical leadership with proven results in designing, implementing and maintaining complex CI/CD systems and services.
• Strong programming skills in a language like Java/J2EE with Spring framework, Clojure, Golang, or others.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structure, databases, and system concepts
• Complete product development life-cycle experience with good software engineering skills
• UI/Dashboard development using Javascript and tools like Angular, Knockout, Bootstrap, Oracle Jet, React, etc.
• Solid grasp of HTTP, TCP and RESTful web services and development experience in RESTful services and Microservices
• Exposure to Linux/Unix scripting development skills.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD
• Continuous integration servers (Jenkins/Bamboo/Teamcity/GitLabs) andbinary repositories (Artifactory/Nexus)
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Groovy.
• Knowledge/experience of agile/lean development, test-driven development methodologies

Detailed Description and Job Requirements Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
